Discovery Call Terms
A free conversation, with clear expectations and no obligation to continue.
Version: 27 September 2026
1. Who provides the call
Your discovery call is with Chris Davies at Snowdonia Hub.
Service provider: Chris Davies trading as Snowdonia Hub
Business address: Hafod Gwenllian, Dolwyddelan, Conwy, LL25 0JF
Contact email: chris@snowdoniahub.co.uk
2. What the call is for
The discovery call is a free, 45-minute conversation about what matters to you, what you would like to achieve and what may be getting in the way. It gives us both an opportunity to decide whether working together would be helpful.
There is no obligation to buy anything or continue with mentoring. Booking this call does not commit either of us to an ongoing arrangement. Any paid work will be covered by a separate written agreement setting out the scope, fees, payment terms and cancellation rights before you commit.
3. Booking, changes and cancellation
Please provide accurate contact details and check your booking confirmation for the date, time, time zone and joining arrangements. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact me.
You can cancel or ask to rearrange at any time without charge. Please give as much notice as you reasonably can, ideally 24 hours, so the time can be offered to someone else. There is no fee for a missed discovery call. If you cancel or rearrange with less than 24 hours’ notice, or miss a booked call, on two occasions, I reserve the right to decline any further discovery call bookings from you. I will take exceptional circumstances into account.
If I need to cancel, I will let you know as soon as possible and offer another available time. If either of us has technical difficulties, we will try to reconnect or rearrange. A late start may mean a shorter call where another appointment follows.
4. How we will work together
I will listen, ask questions and offer relevant experience honestly, with respect for your circumstances and goals. You are welcome to say if a question feels uncomfortable, decline to answer it or ask to change direction.
I will work within my experience and competence and say when another professional may be better placed to help. I will disclose any relevant conflict of interest and discuss how to manage it; if it cannot be managed fairly, we will not proceed.
We will treat one another with courtesy and respect. Either of us may end the call if it is not helpful or appropriate. There is no charge or obligation if this happens.
5. Confidentiality and recording
I will treat what you share as confidential and will not use your name, business details or story in publicity without your permission. Please also respect any confidential information I share and avoid disclosing other people’s personal or confidential information unnecessarily.
Confidentiality may need to be limited where disclosure is required by law, or where it is lawful and necessary to address a serious safeguarding concern or risk of harm. Any disclosure will be limited to what is necessary. Where lawful and appropriate, I will discuss this with you first.
Neither of us should record the call or use an automated transcription or AI meeting assistant without the other’s prior agreement. Any agreed recording must have a clear purpose and agreed arrangements for access and deletion.
6. Advice, decisions and outcomes
The conversation is intended to support your thinking and decisions. It does not replace advice from a suitably qualified legal, tax, accounting, investment or healthcare professional.
I will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. No particular commercial, financial or personal outcome is guaranteed. You remain responsible for deciding what action to take and for obtaining specialist advice where needed. This does not remove my responsibility for the service I provide.
7. Your personal information
Your booking details will be used to arrange and administer the call and communicate with you about it. Any notes will be limited to what is reasonably needed, handled securely and retained only for a justified period. Further details of how personal information is used, retained and shared, and your rights, are set out in the Snowdonia Hub Privacy Policy.
Booking a call or accepting these terms does not subscribe you to marketing. News and promotional emails are optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
8. Questions or concerns
If anything about the call or my conduct concerns you, please contact me using the email above. I will consider your concern fairly and work with you towards a reasonable resolution. Raising a concern does not affect any legal rights you may have.
9. Your rights and these terms
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
The version provided when you book applies to that booking. Future changes will not alter an existing booking unless we both agree.
