At Snowdonia Hub, reviews help future guests understand what it is really like to stay with us. We want reviews to reflect genuine guest experiences, whether positive or negative.
Where our reviews come from
Guests may leave reviews through third party platforms such as Airbnb and Google. Guests who book directly with Snowdonia Hub may also be invited to provide feedback following their stay.
If you booked through a third party platform, its own review policies and processes will also apply.
Genuine reviews
Reviews should reflect the reviewer's genuine experience of staying with us or dealing with Snowdonia Hub.
We do not commission fake reviews or ask anyone to manipulate ratings. We do not offer rewards, discounts, free stays or other incentives in return for positive reviews.
Where we ever offer an incentive for providing feedback, this will be clearly disclosed and will never be conditional upon the review being positive.
How we use reviews
We may feature genuine guest reviews, or extracts from them, on our website, social media and other marketing.
Reviews featured in marketing may therefore be a selection rather than every review we have received. We will not edit a review in a way that changes its meaning or gives a misleading impression of the guest's experience.
Where appropriate, we will identify the platform from which a review originated, for example Airbnb or Google.
Ratings and review numbers
Where we quote an overall rating or number of reviews, we will make clear which review platform or source it relates to.
For example, an Airbnb rating shown on our website represents the rating calculated and displayed by Airbnb at the time stated. We do not recalculate or alter third party ratings.
Negative reviews
We do not prevent or discourage guests from leaving genuine negative reviews.
A review will not be regarded as fake simply because we disagree with it. Genuine criticism is part of an honest review system.
Suspicious or fake reviews
We take reasonable steps to ensure that reviews we publish or reproduce are genuine.
If we believe a review may be fake, misleading, submitted by someone without genuine experience of Snowdonia Hub, or otherwise breaches the relevant review platform's rules, we may investigate it and report it to the platform concerned.
If a review we have reproduced on our website is subsequently removed by the original review platform because it is found to be non compliant, we will remove it from our website too.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a review displayed on our website is fake, misleading or otherwise inappropriate, please contact us through the contact details on our website.
We will investigate the concern and take reasonable action where appropriate.
